Delete your Are We On? account
This page applies to the Are We On? Android app
(package com.cyriacapps.areweon), developed by Cyriac Apps.
Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open Are We On? and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Delete account.
- Review the disclosure, confirm, and verify with your Google account.
- Deletion runs immediately. You are signed out when it completes.
Request deletion without the app
If you can no longer access the app, email
cyriac.apps@gmail.com
from the Google account email you used to sign in with the subject
“Are We On account deletion”. Sending from the account's own address is how
we verify the request. We will complete verified deletions within 30 days
and confirm by reply.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email address, profile photo).
- Every group you created, including all contact details you imported
(names and phone numbers).
- Your plans: proposed times, participants, responses, and invitation
links (all of your invite links stop working immediately).
- Your confirmed events.
- Your push-notification device registrations.
- Your responses in other people's plans. Your entry in their
groups/plans is anonymized to “Deleted user”, and any phone number
linked to your account there is removed.
- Your sign-in account itself (Firebase Authentication).
Limited retention
- Deletion & security audit records — a minimal, non-personal
marker that a deletion occurred (kept up to 12 months for security,
fraud-prevention, and compliance evidence).
- Other people's address books — if another organizer added your
name and number to their group from their contacts, that
record belongs to them (like an entry in their phone book) and is not
removed by deleting your account. It is only visible to that
organizer, and you may email us to request its removal as well.
- Crash diagnostics — anonymous crash reports (Firebase
Crashlytics) age out automatically within 90 days.
